Refund Policy

Overview
We want to ensure a fair and transparent refund process for all participants of FIRST PROOF Conference. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds will be issued and any applicable fees.
Full Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund of your registration fee in the following situations:
- Event Cancellation: If FIRST PROOF Conference is cancelled, all registration fees will be fully refunded.
- Registration Not Accepted: If we cannot accommodate your registration due to space limitations, you will receive a full refund.
- Early Cancellation: If you cancel your registration more than 7 days before the conference date (by March 21st, 2026), you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations Within 7 Days
If you cancel your registration within 7 days of the conference (March 22nd - March 28th, 2026), no refund will be issued. This policy helps us maintain accurate planning for materials, food, and workspace, allowing us to keep the conference affordable and ensure an engaged community of participants.
No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
To ensure we can plan effectively and maintain an affordable, engaged conference:
- No-Show: If you do not attend the conference without providing 7 days advance notice, you will be charged an additional $30 (beyond the original registration fee).
- Late Arrival: If you arrive after 9:15 AM on conference day (March 28th, 2026) without providing 7 days advance notice, you will be charged an additional $30.
- These fees are non-refundable and help offset the costs of materials, food, and space that were reserved for your attendance.
How to Request a Refund

Include your name, email address used for registration, and reason for the refund request. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval and will be issued to the original payment method.
Transfer of Registration
If you cannot attend but know someone who would like to take your spot, you may be able to transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost, subject to organizer approval. Contact us at least 3 days before the conference to request a transfer. All transfers are at the discretion of the organizers.
Emergency Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you experience an emergency (medical, family, etc.) that prevents you from attending, please contact us. We will review each case individually and may offer exceptions to this policy at our discretion.
